and, is pretty obsessive at outdoing Batman at everything.

LOVE this. Red X had an epic design, now he's got an Epic background. Even though he's probably not the type of guy to blow up a building and emerge from the flames. But I think todd became 'The Red Hood' and was an enemy of Batman. He never appeared in Teen Titans.

That was never proven! In all honesty, I don't think it is him. He gives off the impression of being older, or at least the same age as Dick, and Jason's still under Batman's care. He's too young, not yet trained enough, and doesn't have the time to occasionally sneak out of Gotham to cause shit in another city. Besides, Bruce would have caught him.

Red X is Jason Todd... That's original... Great artwork, but.... Was hoping for a more... compelling and interesting backstory. Red X as Jason Todd is too obvious and done. Why can't he be a totally new character?

He could be, none of us will know now that the series is done. But there aren't many people who can break into a high security vault and steal an outfit like that, let alone make it work.
But heck it could be someone knew, or someone so old that no one remembers them. Hell, might be Raven Red, or some Robin spin-off character that got sick of playing for the good guys. Could be the original Ravager, before Rose took over. Might even be Kid Lobo.

Or a completely original character that was made to embody the Robin's mistakes and bad side. I don't see why people always have to put him in a category and define him by pre-existing characters. He is original.

Red X, Fixit, Soto and his dog, Kyd Wykkyd, Angel, Galfore, Sarasim, Val-Yor, Atlas, Broshogun, Cironielian Chrysalis Eater, Control Freak are just some of the character created specifically for the show. I'd say that is pretty original for a kids show.

Well, I guess if Dick Grayson is still Robin, then Jason Todd couldn't have replaced him yet, meaning Jason would still be alive. I guess the idea is plausible. I never thought about that since he's dead in the comic world. I wonder if we'll ever find out. . . dun dun dun!

Great job! This is one of the coolest pics of Red X that I've seen.
But I'm not sure if Red X could be Jason Todd. The character, Red X, seemed to be inspired by a dark anti-hero named X, who was created in 1993.

I know just a few things about him. Due to Dick Grayson is Nightwing and Jason Todd is dead; we needed a new Robin xD. But i don't think he's Red X.
