Looked at my notes for this part and realised I hadn't documented it properly, but that's fine. I remember it clearly enough. Basically I sent out Puck to face the Alakazam since he had much higher Special Defense than Zager. He also knew Bite (all those punches he throws here would be Bite attacks, but that wouldn't have looked as good) and at first it seemed like it would be a relatively short battle. Except. Dark-type moves were considered Special Attacks in Gen3. And that Alakazam knows Calm Mind. And Recover. And oh god it would not be so simple after all .... Puck knew no physical attacks and I now have a much higher respect (and fear) of Future Sight ...Related content

Oh damn. Gen 3 Special/physical division can be so brutal. You definitely managed to build up how strong and intimidating that Alakazam is and now I really fear for Puck's life. I hope he pulls through!

Lately, every time someone was in danger I thought "Oh shit, that's it for them" - you're so good at suspense and intensity!!Β
