Been working a lot with graphic arts the last few weeks. Incredibly fun and the pictures often turn out really nice. I couldn't upload everything like this (I'll make a spam dump though) but ... this is the last oen I made, which also happen to be my favourite. Some drypoint with aquatint and stuff. I had no idea what I was doing but whatever.Some people mentioned the misery of the working class. Another one talked about jail. Depp stuff. Though, the truth is I made this one just after I saw the season 3 finale of Doctor Who. :I
Also, the categories are weird. When choosing "paintings" you get to pick whatever kind it is .. like portraits or landscapes or fantasy. But when I now picked "printing" all I could choose from next was among techniques. Do DA think that graphic arts can't be anything than just techniques? The teacher talked about it the other day .. that it's a kinda forgotten art form ... hiding in the shadows ... not truly worthy to sit beside the painting. Anyway, never mind, I'm just rambling.

Har velat kommentera den här bilden ett tag, men hela tiden skjutit upp det då jag blivit upptagen om och om igen.
Älskar posen! Tänkte faktiskt direkt på Doctor Who när jag såg den haha, najs att du börjat titta! Det är en fullständigt fantastisk serie amirite?

Haha, du tänkte på Doctor Who direkt? xD Det trodde jag aldrig att någon skulle göra (fast titeln kanske avslöjar lite?). Ja, på internatet där jag bor så skaffade jag två kompisar som är riktiga Doctor Who-nördar, så varje onsdag sätter vi oss ner tillsammans och tittar. Fullständigt fantastisk skulle jag inte kalla den, men charmig och rolig och så finns det ju en hög avsnitt som faktiskt är riktigt bra ... typ ... finalen i säsong tre. Eller det med weeping angels, det är nog min favorit hittils. (vi börjar glo på säsong fyra nu på onsdag, ska bli najs!)

Weeping angels-avsnittet är fantastiskt och sjukt disturbing. Och säsong fyra är sjukt bra. Donna är min favoritkompanjon, så! Fan, vill att de ska släppa nya avsnitt snart, har redan nördat sönder det som finns. : x

Och ja, Donna är awesome! Jag blev himla besviken på Martha, hon var skittrist och förstörde stora delar av säsong 3. Så fyran känns lovande hittills ... :d Hur många säsonger finns det just nu? Fem?

Yup, fem! Tycker Martha är helt okej, men Donna är definitivt mer roande.
Åh, längtar till sjätte säsongen, samt en fjärde säsong av seriens spin-off, Torchwood. < 3

Tyckte att Martha var alldeles för perfekt, snygg och smart för att vara intressant. Och så saknade jag Rose, så det kanske hjälpte mig att göda hatet.
Torchwood har jag dock inte sett. Och kommer nog inte göra det heller, för mina fellow nördar är inte så förtjusta i den ...

Haha, möjligtvis. Avskyr nog ingen karaktär i DW, själv. Karaktärerna under säsong 4 är nog bäst, though, blev lite sur på femte säsongen fastän den är fantastisk. ;-;
Och haha åh, älskar Torchwood, så otroligt.... mysko. Jag älskar och hatar den. Det är komplicerat. xD

That's just stunning, I love how it turned out, and the textures! <3 I would agree with those who say "the misery of the working class", it fits really well IMO.

and yes. the DA categories keep getting weirder and weirder ._. I just end up not thinking too hard when picking it and not caring cuz the choices they give really don't make sense at times.

I actually think the categories have improved over the years. I remember when I first started to hang around and would get frustrated every single time I uploaded something. :I But yeah, one shouldn't care too much, it's not like it matters much. It was just a little thing I noticed.

I'm not quite sure. I remember the first few years I was here there were too little categories.. and then there came a point where they added too many and then I think they cut down but it gets confusing to keep up with these changes at times XD I do know they're trying to improve which is a good thing though c:

I would "choose" the misery of the working class option xD I'm not very into these kind of political themes or art, but this reminded me of those dark old drawings I used to see in a History book I had, when I was a child. They were made with charcoal and ink (those mediums fit perfectly this kind of stuff).
No matter if it's inspired by Dr. Who, misery or whatever, it's very sad. Very deep, so beautiful.

Aw, thanks a lot! That's really nice to hear you know. Especially since I like it a lot myself (which I rarely do). I start to think more and more about working class misery too ... it's fun when pictures take turns you never really planned for. I think those are the ones I like the most. At leats they leave you soemthing more than just a technical achivement.
