Description Thought I'd take a minute to highlight a new thing I'm trying to work into some of my plushies, as well as give you a little sneak peak for this upcoming plushie.

Have you ever wanted an easy way to restuff your lifesize plushies? The answer to that is almost certainly yes, as the stuffing in them shifts around over time as you cuddle them and it can move its way out of places like the leg joints or neck. After speaking about this to a lot of people I've come to understand that most people are either too afraid to undo the stitching to access the stuffing thinking they're going to really mess the plush up or they're just too timid at the prospect of having to learn how to sew, and I don't think either of these are totally unreasonable for people to think if they've never done it before. SO, on some of my future plushies I'm going to have the option available to sew these zippers in for those who want an easy no-sew method of restuffing their plushie. I'm still in the experimentation phase but I should be able to put these at the very least in my anthro plushies and the larger laying down ones. It's an 'invisible' zipper which means it's mostly out of the way and hidden although not 100% because the stuffing tries to push the zipper apart.

What do you all think about this idea? I'd love to hear your feedback if you like it or not.

Perfect, now they can be stuff with soft silicone. Will this be an extra fee?

Well that's not something I would do myself but if somebody would want to do that themselves that'd be up to them.

First of all I'd like to thank you for taking my comment seriously. Anyone else would've just snapped at me and accuse of me making fun of them. But really, I'm sure someone else would've already thought of it. But then they'll have to line the interior with plastic and inject the whole body with soft silicone...eh, that's just too much work. Anyways I need a price quote on a 4 1/2 foot tall anthro flutteryshy. (Not the goth kind, but the nips are a nice touch) In a wedding dress.

Yeah that'd be a ton of work and also incredibly expensive I imagine. If you want a quote on something though you should send me a note as I don't much like discussing that in comments

Ooooh, that's smart, providing it doesn't come undone on its own over time.
Also providing you can't feel it during snuggles, I imagine you might if its on the back like that, but I can understand there not really being many places to hide it.

You will be able to feel it, but I'm trying to put them in a place where they're both out of the way but also in a place that makes stuffing easy. I guess the anthro ones can wear clothes which would hide it but for the laying ones I have a pretty good place to put it where it should be in a place that won't get felt much (that isnt on the back)

SUPER IDEA!
Could a previous pone be retrofitted with a restuffing zipper?

Not without great difficulty. These zippers are really tricky to sew in in general!

Even though I'm not afraid of sewing on a plush, I definitely have plans for doing that for a life-sizer. I mean, it's just so much easier! Of course, I'd try to use a zipper that's quite a bit more hidden, yet another pending project for a pending project after getting the catalyst for said project complete, which has also been pending for a while now.

I'm sure it'd cost a lot less to ship un-stuffed as well.

Oh nice I'll be curious to see what kind of life size you make!
One thing I was planning to do if I end up making these too big to ship was to just pull some stuffing out of the midsection and fold them in half if I had to haha.

It would be an anthro, once I get my pattern where it want it. ^^' I have like 5 yards of white I'vd had, so Rarity would probably be the first test.
Yup, there ya go!

Nice! Good luck Lifesize anthro (pony) plushies are very much a rare commodity so I'll for sure be watching to see what you come up with.

Much appreciated!
Yes they are, at least for a decent one, though there are a couple others out there that make some good ones that I've seen, at least for ponies, (not sure about others, which is what I'd like to work toward).

Not something I'd want, but I'm not afraid to sew. This means I am not the intended market.

I do think it's a great option for others, though. Heck, if you're crazy enough to pull all the stuffing you can even machine wash 'em

Would be a lot of work to wash them like that but could be done!
