Description
A dried up creek bed reveals some treasure to those of us in the vintage car hobby...In this photo from left to right: 1932 Ford, 1938 Chevrolet, 1938 Oldsmobile.
Also located here are a 1950 Ford Customline, 1953 Mercury sedan, another 1938 Oldsmobile, a rare wartime 1943 Oldsmobile sedan, 1937 Dodge Brothers sedan, and a 1940 Studebaker truck.
This was taken on my BlackBerry Pearl flip to see how good it's camera is... seems not bad!

It's an old way of thinking to push garbage into dry creekbeds or pits like this, these days this is one of the only ways to get good parts cheap... that is if they are not destroyed or missing... I was able to get a few things out of here for my personal 37 Dodge... parts I had searched for for the last 15 years or so!

Now you've got me thinking about an extreme off-road 4x4 recovery vehicle.
Hmm. Shouldn't be too hard to design ...

For getting cars like these?
I found a vintage first gen Samuri today, might grab it to make a buggy out of it... it's a bread box!

Exactly for that. I once missed out on six Borgwards because they were so inaccessible.
Samurai? Okay for bouncing down trails, but not enough for serious off-road work. Lots of people stuff Chevy small block into 'em!

Awe what shame, I love Borgwards... and Sunbeams, and Skodas... Pnahards... Saabs...
I am happy with my 59 German Ford Taunus right now, and I might be getting a decent 50 Austin this summer... if I get rid of some other stuff first!
The Samurai is cute, I looked at it and thought that the complete driveline of of a 91 Explorer with a 4.0L V6 with a 5 speed overdrive might go well in it... I just happen to have one!
That or drop the body on a 1969 Datsun roadster chassis I happen to have, drop a small block in it and make it a lean low cruiser!
..or I could just shoot myself in the foot!
I have so many ideas and so many projects... I need to live 500 years so I can do them all!

Any colour you want as long as it's ...blue? How interesting 3 blue cars all dumped in the same spot.

It's a downward eastern and southern slope to a lake, tons of cover and some great natural blinds!
