Dr. Stevens rushes from room to room in an urgent search. It had only been a few minutes since he had last seen Alexa, but now his cantankerous and aristocratic traction-bound patient, is missing!

The young doctor soon arrives, out of breath, at the front desk lobby, asking the receptionist if any wheelchair-bound patient had come through in the last few minutes.

"Yes Doctor, there was this young lady that just got wheeled out moments ago. You just missed her-"

The doctor bolts out the front entrance, spotting his plaster-clad patient being awkwardly wheeled away.

"Alexa! Come back! We still have to remove your-"

His call is abruptly cut off by Nurse Flores who intercepts and muzzles him with her hand while frantically (yet silently) mouthing "no no no no NO!"

Confused, the physician asks why his colleague stopped him. Though there isn't any rule against checking oneself out of the hospital, there's usually a number of procedures and protocols to follow. In particular, Alexa's massive plaster shoulder spica cast still needed to be removed before discharge: It served no medical purpose and was merely to keep her restrained from attacking her former roommate. Alexa, in her haste to leave, must have forgotten this fact and left while still wearing that bulky cast.

"Doctor, if she wants to leave, I say let her," Nurse Flores states flatly.

"But what about that shoulder spica?" the Doctor asks.

"It won't do her any harm leaving it on for a while longer. Besides, you've seen how much damage and chaos she can do even while in traction." Nurse Flores explains. "The world is a much safer place with Alexa in plaster!"

Alexa had heard some commotion behind her while being wheeled out but had largely ignored it, issuing a firm middle finger as a response instead. This level of disrespect comes as no surprise to anyone who has ever had to deal with her.

Sam Sorrensen struggles to push Alexa's wheelchair to the car, her own limbs also in a cast. The process involves constant hopping on her good leg to keep the other from undue weight. This seems to work but occasionally causes the chair to veer off course.

"Watch it!" Alexa shouts while texting on her phone. "You almost bumped my leg into the wall... idiot..."

"Sorry Alexa..."

Sam straightens out the wheelchair's course as best she can, being painfully forced to put weight on that plastered ankle. Alexa brings up her phone, making a speakerphone call to the sorority house.

"It's Alexa. I'll be home in an hour."

"What? Tonight? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital for another week?"

"Nevermind that, Sam got me out. I want all the Lambda girls in-house for a meeting tonight."

"All the girls? That's gonna be..."

"Get it done! We've got some new priorities."

"I'll try. Is this about that new girl you keep mentioning?"

Overhearing this exchange, Sam gasps, knowing exactly which "new girl" they're talking about. Alexa's voice turns cold and calculating...

"By the time we're done with her, she'll be spending the rest of her college days back at the hospital..."

That's a wrap for Season 2! This was a fun series to create so far and I hope you are all enjoying it.

Despite being out of the hospital, it looks like trouble is already brewing for our casted friends.

I'll be in a preparatory mode in the coming weeks, gearing up for Season 3 so feel free to drop a message here.
