The latest addition to the Gothic Fall series. It came out ok, but not quite as well as I wanted. I think I still need a lot of practice with integration of detail into the large scale cg pieces. Practising drawing dresses too. The costume is based on a ballgown outfit that I have. (I'll hopefully have a photo of it soon)
Started sketching this last night. The photoshop cg took about 10 or 12 hours. Hope you people like

Wow. I just saw your redo of this, and BOTH versions are amazing. I can almost see this as the teenage version of the girl, and your redo is her a little older and more mature. Gosh, I wish I knew the story behind her. I'm trying to think one up, but failing. Do you have a story behind her?

Not a story as such but there are some poems that go with the images in general. They will be in the GothicFall book when it is available, and I should get round to updating them on the website too

Really pretty picture! People say "A picture is worth 1000 words." Never has this been more true than with your pictures. They are like a peek into an elaborate story and I'm sure one could write one for anything you draw. And that's not something everyone can do.

This is breath taking, I think the purple suits it more so then the red, but thats just my opinion, but both versions are both done well.
