Your scars, already beginning to show...
I do not even pity you.
Brought your own demise!
Letting you touch me, from afar
But I will not feel it.
How dare you even consider
That your ghost would sway my power
I'm leagues ahead of you now...
I have my knowledge, no demons control my mind.
Turn from you and fly free to forbidden lands.
Once my angel, You Turned, You Fallen!
Go, Hide your face
And let your guilt crush you.
See how your tenderness is wasted
Wandering, lost, with no other
Unto whom to bestow your tears.
Each drop falling without company;
You will never see me cry again,
My unforgiven one

Photoshop 7, more than 30 hours from scratch, can't remember exactly how long.
I'd love to do more on this piece; improve it further. I can't get enough of it.
I looked at some reference images of dresses to get some of the folds on the dress looking ok.
I'd just like people to know: This is what is inside my head.
You see here a window unto my mind. That which I paint is who I am.
This is how I feel.
And I share it through my art

Beautiful illustration ! I feel your inspiration from Sephiroth, is it ?. However very romantic mood in the scene by the acts breathed by the melancholy of the pure colours.

Yes, Sephiroth comes from Final Fantasy 7, his concept is not really similar with your character, I find just a inspiration from him. By the way, I finish to understand your poem ( yeah I take long time to understand english

I like that the male is overpowering in comparison to the girl! It's quite sensual, and domineering, frightening and exciting all in one! Add to that the beautiful snow covered background, simply gorgeous! Really great image!

i like it....but i think you need to work on the men....too mutch on him you know overpowers the plain girl.

I'm glad that you interpreted one of the themes as being 'forbidden contact' - that is one of the main ideas behind the piece. I wanted the guy to be quite overpowering, with a sense that the girl was unknowing of her fate, but that she also exerted a slight power over him. Thanks for the comments

The way it makes my soul shiver, my eyes stearing at every detail...it's like i can hear their whispers, feel the imensity of world reducing to only 2 soul bound with deep love in the coldness around them...it's a SPECIAL WORK of art not only through the beauty&detail...but most important through the feelings that is transmiting!!!

This is an exquisite piece. I am not sure what it is about it, but something in it really captures me. The details are exceptional from the individual feathers, each with its own vein and detail to the details on the clothing such as all the little metal bits and the strings, the lace, the cross necklace. I am fond of how stringy and flowy everything is too. I like how I can see the picture moving almost, the snow falling, yet it also seems to stand still as if they both froze along with their world. The writing adds a lot of emotion to it as well and makes me look at it in a new light and guess the stories behind it. I find the characters, particularly the feathered one, extremely captivating and wish said character appeared in your gallery more. You said you hoped those who saw it found something special in it. Well I did when I saw it long ago and the now finding it again I know why. It just has a special something about it that I guess could only be produced through use of one's soul while drawing. Well done, keep up the beautiful work.
