How dare you even consider
That your ghost would sway my power
I'm leagues ahead of you now...
I have my knowledge, no demons control my mind.
Turn from you and fly free to forbidden lands.
Once my angel, You Turned, You Fallen!
Go, Hide your face
And let your guilt crush you.
See how your tenderness is wasted
Wandering, lost, with no other
Unto whom to bestow your tears.
Each drop falling without company;
You will never see me cry again,
My unforgiven one

Photoshop 7, more than 30 hours from scratch, can't remember exactly how long.
I'd love to do more on this piece; improve it further. I can't get enough of it.
I looked at some reference images of dresses to get some of the folds on the dress looking ok.
I'd just like people to know: This is what is inside my head.
You see here a window unto my mind. That which I paint is who I am.
This is how I feel.

In the writing piece which is in the artist's comments I was wondering which one is this directed at? Who is the unforgiven one out of the two?

The girl is primarily the unforgiven one, but I guess the piece can be interpreted either way

Ok thanks for clearing that up, this is really an amazing piece. It brings out a lot of emotions and everytime I look at it, it makes me think about what could have happened for the two to end up like that.
If I had the money I would certainly buy this print.

I know it seems like a stupid question because at first glance it would seem to be the man, but after looking at it awhile I kinda think it could be directed at the girl.
His grasp on her and they way he is looking at her makes me think this.

I know this is gonna sound rather sappy(as though I should care what others think of what I say), this painting touched me to the core. It awaken a feeling inside I rememebr but I don't remember where from. I have felt for some time the works you make have a familiarity to them that I cannot place, I can only attempt to discribe. Almost like when I look them and see a reflection of myself. If this be a window to what is within you, and it is your emotion I see, then I may very well have found a kindred spirit very much alive within you.
