Description
I've decided to investigate the parts of pixel art I don't normally use; perspective, anti-aliasing, reflective edge shading, and scenery. And this is also fanart for a wonderful toy of a game called Windosill, located here: [link]
The main purpose of the game is to get a small toy train across various stages, by interacting with the scenery around it. Patrick Smith puts much detail into such a simple subject. If you play the game, don't bother looking at a walkthrough. Windosill is to be experienced, not watched.
Experiment came out pretty well, I'd say. Pixel perspective. ~5h1n1ngk1tt3nfur 's idea must've penetrated into my mind. Basic shapes are first. Rounded ones would be next.
I tried to make the image as close as possible to the actual game without copying it. Thus, the wheels aren't shaded, the faces are not gradients, and the perspective is right.
Windosill is Patrick Smith's creation. I only use it for practical (practice's adjective) reasons.

Ah, well. There's always the non-interactive way of looking up walkthroughs and videos of the latter half of the game.

I played it a while ago, after reading about it on a game blogging site I used to frequent, and I couldn't figure it out.
User failure, that.

Well, all you have to do is figure out how to get the cube in each level.
Play around with it, and see how different things interact.

I know it, but I just can't bring myself to spend the time.
