I enjoy looking at your comics. How did you learn to set them up? Just reading them?

I actually surprised my teachers by revealing to them that I don't read comics like Marvel or DC, and that my style and storytelling is mostly my own. I read 'Johnny the Homicidal Maniac' by Jhonen Vasquez during my wannabe-goth phase in high school (god, let's not even go there) but Jhonen isn't a spectacular artist nor story-teller, and I didn't really take anything away from that comic. Mostly it comes from looking at other's art - webcomics sometimes - and trying it out a lot myself. My earlier stuff has crummy pacing.

At first I debated whether to make their helmets moved, but reading the Neopets official comic they moved, so I decided to go with that. It makes their expressions easier to read in a comic where you can't hear voices.

Yay another page. Gotta say I love how you drew the Blumaroo troopers, they are so mean first then Sloth talks to them and they go all shy xD

I wasn't color-coding the text bubbles until much later, when it started to get confusing as to who was saying what (and Sloth and Hart both wound up with green colored bubbles, which didn't help, and Horace was blue, and I was white, and it all got so messy). On this page it's yellow/hot colors for anger, blue for defeat or fear. White is neutral.

Ah, ok. When I first read it I thought the Blumaroo's bubbles were yellow and had jaggedy ends to show a mechanicaly/roboty sound(or something like that), then it turned normal looking like the others and I got a bit confused.
That makes sense now.

Yeaahhh, the jagged edge ... the discontinuity there was actually a mistake. |D I got so distracted by the movie in the background I forgot to continue the jaggedy lines by the third panel, at which point I went "Oops, crap!" but decided it was still readable enough.
You have to find all the mistakes and point them out in th first comment!
