Gabriel and Thalia go exploring in the woods when Gabriel is supposed to be in time-out. The pair discover the biggest beetle they ever saw! What could go wrong?

A slight breeze blew through the main den site, ruffling Thalia's fur as she sat near the entrance of one of the caves. The pup was clearly bored, her face showing only a sour expression as Evander departed to train for his task, leaving her feeling somewhat insecure. Her father had definitely become her pillar, it helped to have him around, though meeting the other pups of the pack had certainly helped to make her feel more settled. So much so that she had slipped into old habits from when she had been in her old pack. Evander was often giving her small lectures on her behaviour since he had grown more confident to do so.
However, Thalia was failing to find something to occupy herself with now, she couldn't spot any of the other pups nearby which caused her to emit an irritated huff. Her ears flicked as she considered who she had seen today, then it dawned on her that she was yet to see Gabriel. Knowing that he was usually up for something fun to do, Thalia picked hersel
