Description

Shiloh made a habit of looking after the small group of wolves that had decided to join her on her journey by scouting around their makeshift camps fairly regularly. Over the course of several days, she had discovered the scent of a strange wolf who seemed to be visiting the group semi-regularly, but always keeping a safe distance. It intrigued Shiloh more than alarmed her, as the scent was always the same and always alone. And one wolf versus all of them? This wolf stood no chance, so obviously, it was no threat by its self. Even after they picked up and moved their camp several miles from where she had first discovered the "observer," it seemed to follow them. Shiloh decided it was time to meet this wolf and uncover their true intentions.
It wasn't difficult, as Shiloh picked up on the wolf's visiting patterns and managed to catch her in the act early one summer afternoon. Keeva, she'd come to learn, was a Loner who seemed tired of actually being alone, but not enough to commit to true pack life. Shiloh's small band of adventurers had "caught her eye and curiosity, was all." Shiloh, in jest, accused her of being a sneaky spy, to which Keeva adamantly denied.
With the mystery solved, Shiloh could now return to her small family, but not before extending an invitation to the "lonely loner" to join her and meet the others; perhaps even travel along with them if she felt comfortable with the group. They were not a pack -- they had no territory to protect or consistent place to rest their heads. All they had were each other. Shiloh had spent a majority of her life with only one wolf at a time, so the group she had patchworked together over the last several months had brought her a greater sense of security and camaraderie. Together, they could do anything.
And if Keeva wanted to be a part of that, she would not be turned away.

This was a fun collab with warpugs ! I did the sketch, shading, and BG while she did the lines and flat colors. Thanks for working with me, Liz! I look forward to seeing more of these two. <33
