I figured I'd share a larger version of the preview image, for anyone curious. I sketched these characters last night, and at the moment, they are the main characters for my "Seventh Ring" story.Their designs/names may change a bit, but for now, I'm pretty happy with them. The alien was actually inspired by Predator and Jake Sully, haha.
Quick facts:
- He is wearing a giant collar for reasons that will be explained in the story.
- That human girl is his love interest. This is not a secret, so don't worry, I didn't ruin anything.
- That guy on the end is the girl's husband. Mmmm drama.

I'm honestly not a big fan of romance/drama stories at all, so I'm curious to know if I can do a good job with this or not. I'm sure going to try! I'm more of an action/sci-fi/fantasy dork and prefer to leave the mushy stuff out. But every now and then, a relationship dynamic really strikes me as appealing. One of my favorites is the "Beauty and the Beast" dynamic, if that's not obvious. ;D

Ahaha yes I did pick that up! Well, either way I think that you will do a good job with it. People that are obsessed with it make terribly mushy stories that can't even be related to in any way. So I think that you will make it more realistic (In a sci-fi even) and relateable.
