Ax from the Animorphs series, with fluffy winter coat and cinnamon bun.
Presumably he is going to morph to human ANY MOMENT NOW and messily devour and munch-nom his bun, but first he's taking a moment to express his joy and much yayness. :3
EDIT: This is over a decade old now, easily, and yet it still keeps getting faves, so thank you very much!
I didn't even know what an american cinnamon bun looked like back then, and I'd like to redraw this someday maybe because I'm still a huge Animorphs fan. c:

The title alone was enough to make me crack up. I love Ax, he was always my favorite from the series.
I love his hands, they even have the many fingers! and the hints of tan mixed into the blue fur... and the way his tail is whipping around.

Ahaaah, I remember Ax! I loved him to death. >w< After reading the series, every time we would go by a Cinna-Bun, I'd randomly shriek, point at it, and yell "BUUUUNZUHHH!"

Why would he be playing with his words if he hadn't had his human mouth yet? I can understand the anticipation of tasting the cinnamon bun, but playing with mouth sounds doesn't work with thought speak.

I knowww it makes no sense. I'm actually surprised that no one pointed it out before you.
He's uh... experimenting with thinking actual English words, as opposed to the usual Andalite words that are conveniently translated by the thought-speak... yeah... <_<

I understand the "thinking the words" thing, but I disagree that thought-speak "translates" whatever language Andalites may speak. In this situation (the entire Animorphs series), it's actually a case of "Aliens Speaking English"

Ohhh? They mention the Yeerks there, that they taught their hosts English, but I've never heard that the Andalites actually spoke English. Andalite thoughtspeak is stilted enough to be translated via telepathy, so I guess that was always what I figured was going on.
But hey, we understand them, that's the important thing, right? xD

I was so addicted to that series when I was younger! I blame them for my anthro obsession as well XD
I wish those books had been released faster, I might have finished the series before I grew out of them.

I have vague memories of cinnamon bun obsession and an Andelite named Ax... I really should remember more, for having read like every book in the series, obsessively. XD Oh how television and cell phone radiation has wilted my poor memory. At least my brain went "0: Andelite!" when I saw the thumbnail of this. xD <3
