While in California a couple of years ago, I did a bit of urban exploring with a friend and my cousin who I was visiting. I had a lot of fun capturing the textural elements of the location as well as using the beautiful available light through open doorways and broken windows. I've always dreamed of exploring abandoned buildings, beause I find decay really beautiful in such a sad way. Hope you enjoy them even though they're not my norm!Related content

Very well composed! Was this by any chance taken at a navy base in California? The "FWD" reminds me of how they marked the walls when I was in boot camp. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the former RTC San Diego.

1st look and I said your building need a paint job and major work... but I read you said abandon building. 
It's really sad to see such place and even the whole town seem to be dying is sad.
