Description
Sconce raised Torch without compassion to make him strong. Her methods made Torch so resentful that he cut her out of his life. When Sconce arrives in the Dragon Lands to see her son, he refuses to meet with her. Fortunately for Sconce, Ember manages to convince Torch to give her another chance. Thanks to exercises in friendship he is equipped to confront and outargue his mother.

Now realizing how counterproductive her methods were, Sconce is consumed with guilt and is determined to better herself. It takes her a while to regain her son's trust, but when she does she plays an active role in his and Ember's life. She even finds true love.
