Another of my original characters, revived from dormancy and refurbished... I'm entering her in She has a brother named Alain who will be tagging along, but won't be competing - Alain's Ref Sheet

Special Abilities:
Both Coma and her brother Alain are able to see other people's dreams and physically enter them. When inside someone's dream, they can modify their environment and circumstances to a limited degree, using techniques similar to lucid dreaming. Because they're modifying a dream that's not their own, they generally can't make changes beyond their immediate vicinity, and anything they do is liable to be overridden by the dreamer. Making and maintaining changes generally requires a great deal of concentration, and any distraction could blow the whole thing.

"Modifications" can include making small changes to the dream environment (such as creating a door or a set of stairs when needed,) or creating props (need an umbrella? Why look, there just happens to be one handy!) It helps if the changes can be plausibly worked into the dream experience... Hence, opening a nearby drawer to find the required item may work better than trying to make the item appear out of thin air.

Rules of Navigating Dreams:
Coma and Alain can see a person's dream overlapping reality if they are fairly near the dreamer, though they don't have to be in the dreamer's immediate vicinity to see the dream. The dreamer could be indoors in bed, for instance, and the dream will be visible outside the house. If Coma and Alain can see a dream, they can enter into it. Once inside the dream, they can no longer see the outside world, but are entirely immersed in the dream world. In order to return to the outside world, they need to find the dreamer's dream persona - this will connect them with the dreamer, and the dreamer will connect them with the outside world. When they return to the outside world, they WILL be right next to the dreamer, which can cause... awkward situations. Many's the time they've been thrown out of bedrooms.

Because they enter dreams physically, with their ordinary bodies intact, they can be injured or killed by dream phenomena - so they ought to be careful. Alain usually is. Coma usually isn't.

Background World:
Not important to the Nightmare tournament, but it wouldn't hurt to know that Coma and Alain come from a world that's basically like ours, but stuck somewhere in the 1920's (with a few retro-futuristic twists.) Hence, they tend to use 1920's slang, and would be familiar with a more or less 1920's level of technology (with, as mentioned, a few twists.)
