Description
For the list.I used charcoal from a burnt log in my backyard. I just tried to.. accentuate the patterns that naturally showed up on the paper for the melty part. Kind of like the ceramics in Uzumaki, maybe?

Guuuuh - so creepy. o.o Ohhhhh so very creepy and wonderfully done... The shading is so smooth, I really admire it - I was always terrible with charcoal.

This looks superb. Though if you'd want to go for a more realistic effect the hand should be firmly pushing the separating body from the first one. But apart from that, which is a minor technicality, good job on the anatomy and epecially the melty-rooty-disjoining part. I always buy charcoal in shops, the normal kind like the one you drew this with (the only difference - the price) and ironed charcoal (or however it's called in english), it's got a higher density, leaves darker lines and combined with traditional charcoal, it gives good effects, darkening the parts you'd normally only be able to make trully black by computer manipulation.

Oh, and I thought I was alone in the world of drawing people coming out of other people! Nice!

I like this almost as much as Danger and Patience and Hat House. I think it's the expression on the top guy's face.

That's an interesting take on the word. Real beautiful in an unsettling way.
Seperation really does feel like a part of you has been severed or torn out. So, yeah, interesting aesthetic making that part literally into a person.

This is beautiful work and deliciously creepy. I love the concept and I think you make it work really well; great work on the melty-looking part. You manage to make a surreal peice look just real enough to work. This is a very dreamy (or maybe nightmarish is a better word) picture. Awesome work!
