Traditional mixed media (colored pencil & marker) drawing of James Spader / Ultron. Can you spot the similarities?
Next time I'm going to pick a reference with less details, but now I need a break...When I first heard that the enemy of the Avengers in their second movie will be a robot I was like "Umm ok... That's probably gonna be boring, but I still trust in Joss Whedon... somehow...", but then they announced that James Spader will play this villain (motion capture and voice) so suddenly I was like "OMG! Yes! Reddington will kill the Avengers and take over the world!!! Can't wait to see that!".

Wow wirklich sehr beeindruckend! Ich mag die Serie 'The Blacklist' auch sehr gern und hab bisher (fast) alle Folgen die liefen gesehen und bin ganz begeistert von James Spader. Wie kann man ein so großartiges, kriminelles Superhirn sein? Und das er Ultron spielt gönne ich ihm. Er macht seine Sache fantastisch! Ultron war (bisher) für mich der beste Gegner in sämtlichen MarvelVerfilmungen.

Ich fand Ultron auch richtig klasse. Nur ein paar Sachen haben mich etwas gestört. Ich hatte ihn mir etwas stärker und furchteinflößender vorgestellt (diese seltsamen Wutausbrüche waren etwas merkwürdig und einen Hauch zu menschlich, Zitat: "Vergleiche mich nicht mir Stark!"). Da bevorzuge ich lieber Reddington!

Ja, das stimmt! In dem Stargate Film hat er auch mitgespielt. Da war er aber noch etwas jünger, deshalb habe ich lieber ein aktuelleres Bild als Referenz verwendet!

I'm a bit skeptical to the new Avengers movie because of the obvious lack of Loki, but this makes me a bit more hopeful. He looks pretty cool! And Joss Whedon has never failed to produce something seer-worthy yet!

Ah yes, I've read that too! And the end of Thor: the dark world does set for more Loki-action in the future, so it's not like we're never going to see him again. But a little cameo in the upcoming movie would be quite a treat!
Breaks can be so stressful, thinking about the ideas that could have been made into drawings right now!
