Description
"Twilight Refraction" We don't have seasons here, being so close to the Equator we just have unbearably scorching hot Summers... and oh my it's slightly nippy I should probably wear something other than a bikini today sort of weather for our Winters. Here's my best approximation of what I imagine Autumn in the Australian landscape where I live might actually look like if we actually had Autumn..... a nice afternoon sun peaking through the clouds and beginning to set over the sea on glowing tones of golden orange. If you love my work please consider supporting me by purchasing a print, this helps me to keep doing what I love to do.
THIS IMAGE IS NOT STOCK! Please do not use for any other purpose other than admiring thank you.

Thank you, and it should remind you of Mackay since it's literally just down the road from there down at Cape Hillsborough.... it's a small world.

You're most welcome, Michelle ~ it's a beautiful area! My first daughter Belinda was conceived in a tent on Mackay beach 40 years ago! Β We were on a motoring holiday up from Melbourne ~ hit a big kangaroo at dusk near Mt. Isa ~ limped back home with a busted car ~ got that fixed and continued on to Hobart where I nauseatingly discovered my pregnancy on all those winding roads ~ and ended up having her back in Melbourne ~ she was a well-travelled little foetus!
Cheers, Coco

Thank you very much, I don't find these magical places just anywhere... I actually live here , 98% of the images in my gallery were shot within a 5 to 20min drive from my house and some of those places were actually my back yard so I just walked there. I just happen to be lucky enough to like in a really beautiful and diverse place with waterfalls tropical forest filled with birds, azure blue sea filled with pristine corral reefs and tropical fish and open swampy grassland areas with kangaroos and even more birds.
Beauty can be found all around you you just have to look for it...

Thank you and yes it is Australia, the Whitsunday coast in Queensland to be exact it's a pretty unique place still full of many hidden wild places that not many people venture to, I've done a little bit of traveling but I always come back here because it's so beautiful and amazing. I still feel like I haven't managed to capture the true essence of the place though, I wish I didn't work 7 days a week as it makes it incredibly difficult to go out in the field and capture anything.
