Because there's always room for 'just one more Valen picture'. It's depicting a scene from my fanfic at the very start of chapter 13 - and Valen has just figured out that Cora isn't being deceptive about her origins, but is instead entirely clueless...It started out as a sketch while I was procrastinating about actually writing the scene but then I decided to colour it in and it's ended up taking longer to finish than the chapter. What the heck, it's practice.
