Made this fairly quickly to kinda reward myself for finally finishing a huge ink-drawing for my mother(that has a lot of similar elements to this, actually). It seems I have an easier time making art when I feel some sort of relief.I realize that those trees probably don't work as well with everything else in this piece, but I just couldn't be asked to make anymore line-clusters.
Despite how tedious it is, I like making hair like that. I think I might do it more.

I love how this piece is a literal interpretation of that relief... I can certainly see it. I absolutely cant get enough of the girl... the detail... her fantastic hair and victorian ruffles... I just want to jump in there and glomp her. There's nothing you should change about this piece (Though her hand looks a little funny.. I hate drawing hands like that myself... so hard to draw @_@) Such muted, yet contrasted colors.. *quickly adds to favorites* <333333333333
