Description Something that started out as a reference doodle that my friends insisted I finish up and post. Very sorry for the repetetive look, I wanted to finish this today and I don't have that much time left with the trial program I got. Otherwise this would look much cleaner... and not like a copy-pasta of my last few submissions.

I also didn't mean for extreme amounts of GREEEEEEN, but I've pretty much accepted that if it's rushed, it's not likely going to look as good as I want it to.

Otherwise, I hope it's somewhat okayish.

The dress was very inspired by , I really like how she makes her clothing look heavy, but some how comfortable as opposed to most victorian-esque clothing.

<3 I love the dress. I love her look. Even if it looks similar is a certain style I have come to very much enjoy.

Dude you're getting awesome at backgrounds, seriously. And again I said it before, somehow choosing green for this character is a stroke of genius. It just works.

Whenever thinking of sickly colors, the first that comes to mind is pale green. Or yellow-green. Mostly just variations of green. That's mostly why I chose it here xD again, glad to see it went well.

And thanks again, dude, the encouragement you give always means a lot. x:

I like this a lot. I like all the green. Monochrome can be all right sometimes! This green isn't boring so much as it...sucks you into its depths.

I also like her sulky posture and expression, and the way she's just standing there in the middle of a swamp, glowering at you. It really conveys that she's not in the best of moods, without trying to be unrealistically wispy and pretty about it.

Also, cattails. <3

Aww, well thank you! xD I'm glad to see I was wrong about all the green!

Now that you mention it, I'm just not capable of drawing pictures of super decorated, pretty folk in a... super decorated, pretty environment. Unless it's for like, a royal/noble person or something. For an independant picture in general I keep thinking things like "Why does she need this many layers? How is she able to WALK with all that decoration? WHY is she posing like that?" really stupid things like that. I guess I think too much about the story behind things rather than the idea that it's just a pretty picture of a pretty person. Not to imply that those pictures are bad, by any means, that's just why I often have a hard time making them.

And I... guess I have a bit more of an appreciation for imperfection in some things than others xD Appologies for the rambling.

Thanks again, your comment was very nice!

No, don't apologize! I think that's awesome, because it's the exact same way I think about drawing characters. That's what makes bringing them to life so exciting, figuring out all the little details that make them real people.

It's good story-telling, not stupidity. C:
