While waiting for this december's movie I have depicted my own version of Thorin's dwarves, of course with Bilbo and Gandalf.

Cada vez me gusta más cómo dibujas a los hobbits, ojalá hicieras alguna ilustración más con ellos! 
los enanos son geniales también, con sus capas de colores... el diseño de los enanos en la peli es chulísimo, pero al releer el libro da algo de pena pensar en todo el colorido que se pierde jajaj

Graciaaas!
Hacía tiempo que, tras ver las primeras imagenes de los encantadores enanos de las pelis, quería hacer mi propia visión "cartoon", aunque en un principio iba a ser mas realista. Este dibujo empezó porque hice un dibujo lamentable e ido de la olla con boli en un papel de esos donde tienes cosas apuntadas del curro XD Empecé a dibujar enanos desproporcionados, gordos, estirados, chaparros, enanos con gorros puntiagudos, con narices largas o retorcidas, con capuchas que hacían tirabuzones... y luego añadí un Gandalf que parecía un enorme espagueti encorvado con una barba psicodélica y un Bilbo microscópico que era todo pies. Pensé que molaría hacer un dibujo con una técnica más depurada pero que reflejara esa espontaneidad, y que además tratara de ser fidedigno con las descripciones de los enanos en el libro (aunque como son muy vagas uno puede permitirse el lujo de añadir todo tipo de detalles divertidos y algo fuera de lugar).

Hello and (late) Merry Christmas! As I promised some time ago, here I am again to tell you about "The Hobbit", which I saw yesterday (at long last!!!): I liked it very much! I think Jackson did a splendid work once again (I like the cast: the actors performing Bilbo and Thorin are really OK!). So long, my dear. My best wishes of a Happy and Roaring New Year!!!

I saw the hobbit on the premiere day and it was very pleased! I was very sceptic about the three films thing and also I had read some negative reviews... but I had lots of fun during the three hours and I am very excited to see the next two films! I think that, despite its flaws and arguable creative decisions, it's a very enjoyable movie and a good adaptation that shows actual love for the wonderful source book
