Hi, I was wondering if I could use this image as research in my sketchbook for college, where I'm basically taking note of other people's styles and techniques.

I love this!! I love how it looks as though it was painted on a wall so very long ago and that it's so dreamy and beautiful. I don't understand why you're so hard on it... I would give just about anything to be this talented at painting.

The rippling muscles in the face and neck are really amazingly rendered. I also love how your subjects sort of "grow" out of the painty backgrounds... very nice!

Śliczny dobór lolorów i dosknale oddane detale pyska i nozdrzy. Jedynie ta część szyi, która łączy się z głową wydaje się być nieco za gruba, oraz usytuowanie uszu wymaga lekkich poprawek. Ale rysowanie koni to trudna sztua, wiec gratuluję!

nie jest jeszcze tak źle. anatomia koni też Ci dobrze idzie. nie znam jej tak dobrze, ale najbardziej mi chyba przeszkadza ucho. perfekcyjny jest nos
szkoda, że nie dociągnęłaś grzbietu do końca kartki, myślę, że tak byłoby lepiej

Anatomy issues aside, It looks really good. The way the lines of the neck flow and how the mane is done, as well as that "wispy" look (for lack of a better word) where the the base of the neck is and how the background looks is really pleasing to the eye.

I agree, there are some anatomical aspects not completely right, but overall, this piece is very well done ^^
