Bet you didn't see this coming?This is something I wanted to do for fun.
When I first read Archie Sonic #269, I was kind of disappointed with how they handled Tail's match with Honey. In the comics, he acted sort of like a sore loser; holding a grudge against Honey for losing the match and of course pouting with his friends while watching the match with Knuckles and a large Polar Bear who's name I forgot. I thought he was being Out-Of-Character right there. I mean, Tails has been through a lot. I'm pretty sure he's been defeated before. And, even as a kid, he's mature enough to handle defeats, even embarrassing ones. At least, in my opinion.
So, I decided to challenge myself with making my take on Archie Sonic the Hedgehog #269. It's still an ongoing process. So leave any comments below and tell me what you guys think.
First Page Summary:
Honey has won her first match in Breezie's Tournament. Tails looks at her with shock and dread that he had lost the fight. He wanted to yell at her; wanted to accuse her of cheating. But, by taking a deep breath, Tails calms himself down, and reminds himself "There's always next time." He looks back at her with a smile. He accepts his defeat with dignity.

Tails was bitter in the comic because Honey cheated. In fact, Honey's a pretty terrible person in the comics anyway.

How about I alter the comic to Tails figuring out that she's going to cheat and using wit he somehow gets the upper hand and wins? Or maybe have Honey disqualified after being caught cheating?
