Description The Mark 3 Reed Drive gave the ESF Red Dawn the capability to travel from the inner Solar System to Saturn's Moon Titan in a small fraction of the time when compared to the Mark 2 Reed Drive. EATA High Command ordered the Red Dawn to begin a scouting mission to Titan so that the EATA Space Force could find an ideal place to land on and set up an outpost. Titan was a promising moon as it had dozens of times the fossil fuel reserves in hydrocarbons than Earth did which was a great opportunity to replenish EATA's oil reserves.

By 2060 AD, the USNSC had already set up an outpost on Titan using SpaceX's Pioneer 1 ship so for the ESF, time was of the essence. The ESF Red Dawn would then act as an escort for EATA's cargo fleet to Titan to establish an outpost. After the Red Dawn arrived at Titan with a cargo fleet, NATO was not happy. The NSF Razor Star and NSF Athena of Steel were waiting for them when they arrived. When their orbits overlapped, they intercepted. The ESF Red Dawn had the thrust to outmaneuver the NSF Athena of Steel's torpedo and KKV fleets, but the Razor Star had no trouble keeping up with the Red Dawn. The two ships chased each other in a fierce engagement. For the NSF, that was the plan. The Razor Star would keep the Red Dawn busy while the Athena of Steel would destroy the ESF cargo ships. 

However, the ESF had a trick up their sleeve: one of the cargo ships was hauling a huge asteroid. The NSF Athena of Steel found this confusing since it was mostly dead weight unless they wanted to use it for construction material in orbit. If the ESF tried to use it to orbital bomb their outpost on Titan, it would be hard enough to guide it assuming the NSF couldn't nuke it with torpedoes before it could even reach Titan's atmosphere. The Athena of Steel's gradar detected an abnormally low amount of ambient gravity waves bouncing off the asteroid compared other asteroids of the same size. This meant that it was almost hollow. The asteroid then blasted apart to reveal that it was a Trojan Horse. Inside were five ESF fast attack gunboats. The asteroid hid them from long-range infrared telescopes and quantum radars. The captain ordered his crew to fire on the gunboats, but they were very fast. 

The NSF Athena of Steel had the firepower but not the speed. The fast attack gunboats forced the battleship to fallback while the cargo ships sped to Titan's orbit. The Red Dawn prevented the Razor Star from assisting the Athena of Steel which forced the two ships fallback and defend Pioneer 1 as it was completely defenseless.

Hiding in the distance was a long cylindrical object with geodesic domes. The object had an observation deck with a window. Inside was a man observing the battle over Titan dressed in a grey officer's uniform and a WW2-style officer cap with a straight-winged metal eagle on it. 

"That's right fools. Keep playing your cat-and-mouse games." He said as he pulled out a cigar and smoked it, exhaling the smoke toward the window.
