Its unfortunate that I couldn't jam all the characters into one illustration (for technical and time-saving reasons xP) but when narrowing it down to four I like to think Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and Link are the Nintendo staple boys.You've got the original plumber mascot, the pink side-scroller alternative, the giant Japanese parent-money-eating franchise, and the only pretty-boy-RPG that Nintendo has ever done right.
Anywho, SSB games are probably the best fighters ever concieved. There are "classics" like Street Fighter, KOF, Tekken etc. But in my opinion, nothing is quite as innovative and fun as the SSB franchise in the genre.
Mario, Kirby, Pikachu and Link belong to Nintendo

But what do you mean with "a game of his own"? Isn't King Dedede and Meta Knight there too? From that view, Link does have a game of his own too, toon link too.

This and "Brawlin' Ladies" are so wonderful and dramatic that I had to fav them both. It's always a trick to make cartoony characters look realistic, but you did an amazing job. And the fact that SSB is inherantly awesome doesn't hurt either

Everyone in this picture looks absolutely epic. The best aspects of the game are captured right here. And yeah, these four are some of Nintendo's biggest mainliners. They were used to advertise Brawl and show off some Final Smashes.

I've played SFII and MK for the SNES and loved it; maybe other fighting games as well, but I've never had the pleasure of SSB titles.
I love the Mario you did here... a realistic makeover (yet still with signature exaggerated features) such as this is just what the man needs.

Man, this brings back some great memories of Afghanistan!
We played the hell outta that game out there. It could get pretty heated sometimes. At one point, someone was thrown over a table, and then outside into the snow! Haha, good times.

Our Commander managed to "acquire" a flat screen tv, and some people had brought some game counsels. By the end of the trip out there, we had three tvs with an X-Box, Playstation 2 and a Gamecube rocking out at the same time in our B-Hut Break-room

Haha, yeah he was. The Major was a bad-ass, he was always looking out for us. They were trying to decide what we should be allowed to wear in the cold weather while we worked, and he came down and said he didn't care if we had to wear a friggen red Santa hat with bells on it to stay warm, he wanted to make sure we stayed toasty out there. I really miss having someone like that in charge of us
Oh man, we had some heated tournaments too. There was this one guy who was really good though, that everyone hated, who always wanted to play. Only three guys in the squadron could go up against him though. So we made him a bet, if we beat him, he couldn't come into the break-room anymore
In the end, he defeated two of the guys, and him and the third were on their last lives, their damage at over 130%, duking it out. We were all screaming and yelling and cursing up a storm. Finally, he got power-slammed off of the map. In a roar, we all grabbed him, lifted him up, and threw him right out of the door into the freezing cold
