Marvel's Ultimate Universe is one of my guilty pleasures when it comes to comics. For the most part I find the re-imaginings of classic characters refreshing if not an interesting read.It'd be an understatement if I said not all of the titles from the UU were "winners" but if you're looking forward to the Avengers movie I HIGHLY recommend reading Ultimates 1 & 2
Anyway, here's some of the big-names in my favorite outfits:

Thanks for pointing it out! I actually re-worked her pose a LOT and ended up moving limbs around without considering the flow of her entire body/anatomy. Still not too happy with her placement at this point, haha...

The Ultimates are usually hit or miss. Ultimate Spider-Man (comic. Not cartoon) is consistently good. But yeah, Ultimates 1 & 2 were fantastic.

The Ultimates universe is really cool. Is a more mature and interesting story in my opinion, than the "normal" saga (except that I never really liked IronMan's ultimate suit).

Dude this so freaking awesome!, I'm assuming because of the description you meant for them to be in their older costumes? Since Thor actually has Mjolnir and no belt, and Iron-Man's suit is closer to the movies now? Not criticizing at all, because I love this piece!

I am not mad, but i can not aggree that miles morales is Spider-Man.
He is only a great fail in the alternative version of the original story. morales was generated by the anti-racist campaign that raised after the election of Obama. Gay heroes ... more neger heroes ... only the result of a political campaign, nothing more.

Love this pic, love the art, and I'm going to fave it....But the Ultimate Comics universe stuff lost me when they killed nearly all the Heroes I loved, off.
Wolverine, Hank Pym and Wasp getting off'd along with the entirety of the X-Men was bad enough but when they killed Peter Parker and replaced him....Yeah. The Ultimate Comics universe is dead to me.
I'll just pretend Pete's under that mask since I know 616 Regular Marvel Universe Spider-Man has that costume in-canon.

Not trying to cause trouble, but I know my Spidey. I don't remember Pete ever having this costume in 616. He's has similar costumes I suppose but not like Miles' suit. He gets it in the video game Edge of Time thought, that much I'm sure of.

There IS an upcoming event for Spider-Man's 50th Anniversary, he'll be crossing over into the Ultimate Universe and meeting...*shudder* Miles Morales. x-x

I know. I'm actually really excited over it. But knowing how Marvel works, it's NOT going to be mentioned, dude. This is technically the first crossover. And even though those videogames are supposed to be canon, fact of the matter is, one thing completely discredits it; Madam Web is alive in the game. She died a long ass time ago in Grimm Hunt.

Well it would have been a long long long time ago, because Kraven was also alive. Considering Kraven died in 1987 in the comics before being revived in Grim Hunt in 2008. I'm not denying that the events in the game didn't transpire in the respective universes cause I believe they did; I'm just saying that this is the first official crossover of Ultimate and Amazing, so they're not gonna talk about it most likely to make the story more interesting to show Peter's reaction to the Ultimate universe.

But I dunno, I was reading some stuff, I was thinking maybe the reason Peter will be shocked about things in the Ultimate Universe because of how he met his Ultimate Universe Counterpart...But Peter himself never actually went to the Ultimate Universe.

I LOVED the concept design on the first issues of Ultimate Avengers for Iron Man. Probably that and Hulk's hair style are my favorite Ultimate changes.
