Update!Monkey-quisum is gone for good.
Species name is now Taetonus tonarea.
She is mostly herbivorous.
Lives in a matriarchal based family group.
Docile until provoked, like most herd animals.

Thanks! In my head at least, this gryphon evolved from simple hawk/cat gryphons. The anatomy is pretty random, heheheh. I'm still working out how it got from there to here XD

Why does it have such a large keel? It looks like it evolved from some sort of bird, but why would it have retained the keel and not the wings?

It evolved from flying gryphons, like you guessed, and that's where the keel originated. The sternum, along with the keel, is still acting as an attachment point for muscles, particularly the pectoralis major of the forelimbs. Also, some flightless birds like the dodo and a few terror birds still retained sizeable keels despite not being able to fly. Plus I just personally like the aesthetic look of the large sternum. This is still fantasy after all c:

Only thing I'd point out is that the sclerotic ring opening in her skull is smaller than her eye is in the flesh!

I don't think she will, you just need to make the eyes smaller or the sclerotic ring a bit bigger cx

Oops again, I just figured out that the sclerotic ring goes in the front of the eyeball, not the back. Suddenly everything makes sense.
