Some people say that 70787 is a bad set and Kopaka is much better. Well, I bought new Tahu, brought him home, took his parts and ... build something you can see on the photo. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I made good decision buying him but now I am convinced that he's a good set. Not perfect, but good. He has some disadvantages like shoulders or golden armour (I prefer rather silver) but he has nice parts too. And yeah, building my improved version was a really pleasure for me (that's a little sarcastic that at last I could use golden parts from another sets).

Anyway, I started with original model improving him successively. In my opinion final result is ok. Limb-movement is little worse than in 70787 but that's fine - this is because he has more armour. Under the cover there is a original gear-system which still works. You can rotate his wings but you can't take them out and form a sword (in my earlier project this sword was too short so I resigned from this idea) - instead of this I extended his main swords.

Another thing I'm proud are legs. In original you have empty backs. In my version everything is armoured and looking more realistic (I hope so anyway).

The only thing I used from another flickR user are hands from MrBoltTron who has a great patent for hands with mobile fingers. I don't mind about original hands but if there is possible to do something better - why don't we do it? And yeah, he can hold his swords
