"I WANT TO BE CALIPH INSTEAD OF THE CALIPH!!"
Part of an art jam for :devthewatted:. Wanted to go for a fat and skinny duo that hasn't been done yet, until I remembered this very obscure TV Series called Iznogoud back from the days of Saturday Morning. Ironically, this started out as a comic book series, too

I like how the style is clearly different from the original, but still recognisable, and looks like them.
I loved that show as a kid, even though the comics are much better if you ask me.

Not a clue, TBH. I think was was by Saban International, but I'm not wholly sure. The intro and a few episode clips are posted somewhere on YT if you look hard enuff.

It used to be shown waaaay back on the BBC in the 90's. That's about the only place I remember watching this series. Pretty darn good, too
