the NAU is an economc union created by Mexico, Louisiana, and the United States in 1954 as a way to increase relations throughout North America. All members switched to the new currency of the Amero. Following the 3 original members, new members such as Cascadia, Antillia, Quebec, and Canada joined the Union. Following Alaska's independence from Mexico, the newly created nation was given automatic entry into the economic union, upsetting nations such as Guatemala and El Salvador, who had applied for NAU membership and waited for a long time. The NAU, however, is still seen as a positive influence over North America, as more and more nations soon join the fold.
