Description
Wow, EPIC sketchdump.
I've always wanted to do one of these, now I have, it's daunting.
These are basically some of the sketches from my mini-sketchpad. All of these were done during school. I've numbered them (inspired by one of =Humingbird 's sketchdumps) to make it easier to label. Okay -cracks fingers-
1. One of my first attempts at self taught landscapes...I like the sun
2. Random grumpy bird, I need more practise drawing a wider variaty of critters
3. Oooh I remember this. This is an idea I hd for my story. Before battle, a certain selection of Hurrians will have reflective, silver paint (a plaint sap or something) painted in vivid patterns on the underside of their wings. This means when they fly at an enemy (a krellen) they can suddenly flash their wings in the sun and blind their opponent.
4. Some random thing I drew when our teacher was reading 'singing my sister down' from 'black juice' to us. Huh...depressing
5. No Beat Boxing
6. I haven't drawn one of these guys in ages, that's a jaw-hugger. A type of swarmin predetor from Rim.
7. Inspired by me+bunsen burner+needle situation in chemistry.
8. Feeet!
9. Don't mind him
10. Some roaring thing I quite liked. I was experimenting with the tiger-like side-burns. I really want to whack them on a critter, I just dunno which one yet.
11. Lol, the great glue fiasco. I might describe it sometime when my thumbs aren't seizing up.
12. Another Rim idea. The Hurrians have discovered how to make a whistle which sounds at a pitch they can hear but Krellens can't. This means they can signal from behind enemy lines without giving away their position.
13. BISON!!!
14. A friend of mine who I always drawing and always draw badly, I then draw extra things (she doesn't have a real dog body in real life, sorry) so that it distracts from my lack of human-drawing-skill.
15. This is a Sentaa; inspired by the flying critters from James Cameron's upcoming Avatar and a dragonfly I saw sitting on a leaf.
16. Brain implant, the way for humans to control the large and powerfl Sentaa. (scent...aye)
17. Sketches of tack and stuff. The bridle design was dumped as people wouldn't be strong enough to control them with reins anyway. Top one is young Sentaa to human scale. Sentaa can get MUCH bigger. Lowest one is the tack design. I am still working on it, it's hard to fit around the four pairs of wings
18. Sentaa had fat, wide paws to carry their bulk, which is surprisingly light considering. However, they still need bit fat paws, and they don't run. They just walk, trot slightly, and jump a little, often jump into the air to take off, not jump and hit ground again. They hover well and can land slowly and gently. Oh, and a tail design.
19. Sentaa head, no more said
20. Meheemneh...I like this a bit, big sharp teeth to bite you with!
21. Bored in chemistry, drew this. It looks...startled
22. Doodles of falling cherries, a giraffe thing, and dancing greyleads. Of course.
23. I missed 23...oops
24. Weird, long beakd thing.
25. An idea I've had for a while. Instead of a fan on the tail for a rudder, the forepaws have sails or something to use as rudders.
26. Some random critter, walks around rocks by the beach and hunts prey between rocks, that's how the skull works.
27. BISON!! (watch the progression of bison anatomy in my drawings lol)
28. I like this even though it is incorrect
29. This bison is breathing...yay
30. Trying to get the head right, Bison heads are HARD!
31. Bleargh...horrible horrible horrible
32. Bad...but better
33. My crushed drink bottle from maths, some sword and a kite. Drawn in maths as stated earlier
34. And I missed 34...huh...whoopsies
35. A head stating the percent my english exam is worth in my overall mark, GULP. Aaaand some bison feet. I like the back very of the forefoot, even though I dunno if they are supposed to have those claw things. I was working off memories of cow anatomies.
36. D= Some of the throat got cut off. Or well. Did that today in TNT, very fun. Trying to characterise the bison.
37. This is the most recent one of all of them but the order is stuffed. Not quite finished, the beads are uncoloured. I did this is TNT as well. I have wnated to draw a shamanish bison, or something like that, for a while. It took me ages to figure out waht plates looked like. I had to start plating some of my key rings
38. These are old ones. I like them a lot, probably my best no-ref scenary to date. Did them during maths, thank you maths. I am quite proud of them.
39. Lol, horrible, horrible drawing of a cartoonish bison calf. Don't look directly at it!
40. And a random half-cartoonised pick of a bison with a wierd nostril. Poor bison D=
Anyway, bleargh! That was an effort and a half. I hope you like them, any doodling advice would be appreciated!

Lol I can type it now because my hands have had sleep!
The Great Glue fiasco occured this year. I was in my school uniform and for a number of days I had been carrying a small tube of super glue around in my breast pocket. Anyhow, on the way home from school one day I was trying to pull it out.
It appeared to be stuck.
So naturally, I pulled harder...aaand ripped the tube in half.
Super glue went EVERYWHERE in my blazer pocket (which had other stuff in it at the time!) Mum was driving and bess was laughing and I was paniking. I got all my super-glue coated stuff out and chucked it at bess (my sister btw) And I got glue ALL over my hands getting back the second half of thje super glue tube.
To this day, the bottom of my pocket is still glued together.
And that was the Great Glue Fiasco

Ahh, I've had something like that happen to me before. But instead of glue, it was boiling water |D

Ahh, it didn't hurt for long - you actually stop feeling it after about 10 seconds.
