Description
A quick thing-a-ma-jig I whipped up. She looks how I feel...tired and bleargh...
'Scuse the terrible shading, my attention span is very sm-pizza!
Anyhow, this is the critter I've been a-working on recently. So far she goes by the name of Theuris. She has bunches of small scars, but the one across the back of her neck is the most visible. And yeah...it's definetly YOU she is scowling at...so run away!
I'm really liking her design! Any feedback is appreciated!

the shading really fleshes her out as a character, as does her facial expression.

I do really enjoy the facial/head design ^^ it is simple but very effective.

I agree with Kezrek - the body language does really convey her tired state very well, as well as the hooded/half-closed eyes and slack or frowning lips. What I wanted to really point out as a point of interest however was the clever cast shadow that her wing creates across her body - even though you are sick, this detail didn't seem to elude your attention, and I applaud you for going for such a complex shadow. I had yet to think about how a wing shadow could really cast itself over the body, and the tiny shadows across the base of the tail indicating the tips of the wing digits really shows a detail that immerses one into the character that much more.

There's something very satisfying when you're sick about drawing something that represents how you feel

NAWE!!!! for some reason i like his big chunky thigh leg things ^_^ it give the whole creature a natural feel about it! those little effect pull viewer in! great job!

Lol, I was trying to show how it bulges when the leg tucks up...I often have difficulty with it
