Here's my picture of Greystripe and Silverstream from Warriors by Erin Hunter.WARNING, THEY MAY BE SPOILERS...PROBABLY, MY RAMBLING WILL INVOLVE THEM I THINKS
Okay, some background info.
Greystripe (thunderclan) and Silverstream (riverclan) have a forbidden love after Silverstream saved Greystripe when he fell into the river. Cats from sperate clans aren't allowed to see each other or have loyalties outside of their clan, so these too were going against the Warrior code. Fireheart (his name at the time) found out and repeatedly covered for Greystripe.
Silverstream then became pregnent with Greystripes kits but died during birth. The kits then went to riverclan so Greystripe went with them. he was banished from riverclan though for saving Bluestar.
This shows them in a cave beside the river. I was going for a riverclan look, riverclan is on an island, but only sought of, because greystripe didn't live in riverclan.
so yes, i hope you like it. It took a few hours, but i did it all in one hit. Sorry about the crummy background but meh, what can ya do?

This is very touching. I love it! Erin Hunter's plot for the Warriors saga was incredible and the part where Silverstream died was one of the saddest events I've read so far. Magnificent job on this drawing!

yeah i was like so happy with the end in fire and ice when firehearts like ill always be your friend and then in the next one greystripe dissappears...

Another thing - I love Greystripe's tail - there is a lot of movement in it, though it isn't moving, and the lines are drawn very very well. ^^ That stripe helps a lot, though it's said to say - I hate it how markings can make something look better. I'm not sure why, but I don't like it when someone says something like that - the markings are part of the character, not just chiefly there to make the drawing 'look' better. What if he didn't have any markings, eh? Would you not like the drawing as much? Eh? EH??!?? *goes into tirade*

Hmm...interesting point. I think in this case it helps the line of the back. But i also happen to think that the line wouldn't suit Silverstream...people can manage without the lines, i think it may just look good her in the contects of what its in. Maybe every lined cat picture has to be judged on its own? i mean a line at the 'top' of the tail wouldn't work, it'd look to stiff. And at the bottom of it it would be of my opinion that it would make the cat look like it was sitting on it.

Man - you're getting better and better at drawing cats with each new drawing! The proportions and build of these cats is beautiful! ^^ Wonderfully drawn. Have you been using references and such to help figure out how to draw cats, or are you just drawing them with nothing to go by? Great work in any case. ^^ :applaud:

thanks, and yes a reference. I have this tiny, 3cm tall schleich cat. I basically drew the cat for this picture [link] thats a pose (i changed the colour though.) So with this picture it was a sketchier reference. Also i spent quite a lot of time rotating Greystripes head, it used to be horizontal with eyes open. Then i decided it could be greystripe and silverstream, but it took a while to draw silverstream because she wouldn't fit for a while.
I am referencing it mainly because i don't want to learn the wrong way of drawing cats, because then i would have to unlearn it which would be a very painful process. Like my older sketches, the necks are waay to long.
It was mainly stormy weather because at the current time it was raining....i loe rain

That's nifty! And you have a very good point about trying to learn something the right way first because learning it in the first place is never as hard as unlearning it. 
Oh, and on a random note, I tried drawing you the other day, but it turned out embarrassingly horrible. Hopefully something better will turn up soon..
