HEY, what's up. First, this. Took. For. Ever. My previous record spent on one piece is 13 hours. This smashed it by double; I kept a time card that adds up to 27 hours and 29 minutes. That's not even counting the 4 or so hours spent looking for OCs to hit 50 (even though this has 51 OCs)51 ponies, 12 races, more brown paint that I would have liked, and a really, really colorful wad of toilet paper that I used as a palette!
Thank god for white coats and hiding Cutie Marks, otherwise this would have been something along the lines of 33 hours.
That aside, I have a lot of people to credit; 38 people not including me, in fact. Soo... onto that!

I would say it was a challenge to compose, but my process for layout was 'start with Pennaprose, then add whatever ones from my list I felt drawing next". The triangle layout simply came from nothing after about 10-15 OCs in.
I also didn't know what color to make Escher's eyes (as they're hidden 98% of the time) so I went with reddish brown. Just because I thought it fit; he's a mysterious badass to me

I can safely say that even though I am used to large projects, this was a new one. Also, if I had the skill that I did now a mere 8 months ago, there would have been little chance I would have gotten this done. Before my first job I was so lazy that even with the ridiculous free time, I would have just ended up playing games.
Work has a strange way of wanting to get more done.

What a pleasant surprise to see that my characters have been included in this! I must say, Hannah (that's Zombie Floral pony's temporary name) looks absolutely adorable. Good job on Seus as well. Gotta admire you for sticking with this 51-ponied project all the way to the end. For a person with a short attention span and little patience like me, this is a feat nearly unachievable.

As it happens, Void was one of the last to be added. I came across him in one of my groups a little bit before I had to go hunting for the last dozen or so, and his life theme paired up rather nicely with Ankou in a diametric manner (alicorn, opposite left, grey mane).
