My first "serious" painting in a while.
After finishing Reach Campaign, I started to play the original Halo CE again, that's when I realized that it's been almost 10 years since Halo CE came out so I decided to do this piece.
Started and planned as a speedpainting, but I got carried away with it and end up adding here and there. Nevertheless, not a speedpainting nor a polished one, so let's say it's incomplete... as always.
"Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep 'em from getting their filthy claws on Earth. But, we stumbled onto something they're so hot for, that they're scrambling over each other to get it. Now I don't care if it's God's own anti-son-of-a-bitch machine or a giant hula-hoop; We're not gonna let them have it! What we will let them have is a belly full of lead and a pool of their own blood to drown in! Am I right Marines?!"

Brilliant- and I think you'd have fun with CE anniversary. On the actual artwork: Stunning photoshop work, the perspective and scale of the characters works perfectly with the closeness to the viewer, and it all fits together quite well. The name, 'we wont fail you' seems to sum up your relationship with the marines in the first halo. They're utterly out-gunned, and lack the organization to keep from going into utter panic when in combat, and in my experience, the attempt to save them at your own expense seems like a constant. Yet, they seem to be inspired by your presence. They never fail you.

I have played Halo ever since the release and I'm glad that 343 Industries re-released this ground breaking, legend of a game... and this picture symbolises all to do with the Halo saga... Truly a legendary picture...
