Finally! it's finished! My official poster for my second fanfiction that's still in the making. [link]
This was my first time drawing Jack and Maddie and I was able to explore a lot of new techniques with the GIMP software I used. This one certainly has a more eerie feeling to it when compared to the first one I did, if you ask me.
I admit I kind of cheated with using some of the same drawings I did with the first poster, only tweaking them just a bit to fit better.
Speaking of fitting better: those of you who have read both of my stories, yes. Dani SHOULD be wearing her white and silver outfit I had given her by the end of the first fic. I would have used it too, but while I was working on this, she just stood out way too much when in contrast to the overall darker feeling of the whole thing. It looked terrible in her lighter outfit. I got a few outside opinions of that as well. So even though it's not accurate to the story I have written, in art there are some sacrifices that must be made in order to make the work look the best it can.
So on that regard, I decided to have her wear her black and white outfit. However, she does still have her yellow plasma rays. If you look closely, you can kind of see the yellow mixing with Danny's green energy as they're making the ecto sphere behind thier backs together.
Oh. And I don't know if you realised this, but if you look closely at the bottom, you can see Clockwork's eyes looking out at you from the darkness. Very dimly, but still visable in the right light.

TV nowadays just plain sucks. Danny Phantom and the stuff that was on in the years before that actually had some integrity. I wish they still made cartoons like that. who knows maybe you could develop your own cartoon and use Hartman inspired animation.

That's my dream all right. ^_^ The only cartoons I'm interested in watching right now are not on TV anymore. I just watch re-runs on the internet. I think in a desperation to get more original stuff out there, they started putting out really lame stuff that people somehow accept as comedy and kid-friendly. To get any of the good stuff anymore, people have to get expensive cable contracts to get channels that would play the old stuff. I think I'd rather just get the good stuff on DVD. Makes up for the money that would include a lot of stuff you'd rather NOT see and would be embarrassed for anyone else to see.

I do the same thing. I managed to find a website that only has older stuff on it. I've watched so much Danny Phantom my brain might explode. lol But at least if it did it would be from something awesome bot because what I was watching on TV was incredibly stupid. A perfect example of stupid tv is Fanboy and Chum Chum. That has to be the DUMBEST cartoon in the history of TV. I liked back when cartoons had some kind of dignity and self respect. I actally learned things from the cartoons I watched growing up.

So true. The shows nowadays have just lost their value everyone is so focused on getting more for less, they've gone for the quantity of the channels and the shows on them rather than the quality of the shows themselves. I mean, those who can actually afford to have all those hundreds of channels? How many of those are even worth watching and that they even watch at all? Come on.

They go for cheep animation to get cheep laughs. Little do they realise not as many people enjoy their show as they think. There is just nothing else on the TV. They traded in quality for quantity. That's why you don't see shorts any more like Warner Brothers stuff anymore. At leats that's my theory. The only thing I've seen lately that even comes close in creativity and wit is Phineas and Ferb because they put creative humor in the show and not just stupid slapstick. And there are even moments that the parents can enjoy.

Phineas and Ferb IS a good one to my opinion. ^_^ It has a lot of the old classic type of episodical storylines that the older cartoons used to have and yet it has the kind of humor you really like while also tying in some moral lessons. Unfortunately, that's one of the ONLY good ones left worth watching. I think it's only a matter of time before that one disappears as well. Pity.

Their last movie "Summer Belongs To You" Marked the end of a season and that was fantastic. I hope this one will be as good. Unfortunately it looks like they're running out of ideas. My fingers are crossed though.

If you look at the description of this one, you'll find the real reason I had her outfit like that, but I have already been considering that exact concept for the last battle in Clash of All Time. We'll see if it makes it into the final draft with time.

Do you think that you could make Clockwork's eyes stand out a little more. I had to enlarge it and look really close in order to see. Do you think that you could also express Danielle's yellow energy more.

I tried to do both several times. But it ended up becoming one of those things I kind of wanted you to have to look for in order to notice to characterize their seemingly unnoticeable but still big involvement in the plot. Particularly with Clockwork.

I seriously doubt that at this point. I'm still learning and am pretty sure once I sit down with a really experience animator, I'd discover there's a whole lot I'm doing wrong and that I could do better. I DO hope to do that some time in the future thought. Thanks for the vote of confidence. ^_^

Awesomeness! I do agree that Dani would stand out in the darkness and she looks cool like this! The yellow rays in the ecto-ball are also really nice. Very detailed.

Yes. Dani should be wearing her White and silver outfit according to the accuracy of the story I have written, but while I was working on it, she just looked so out of place when put next to Danny and it's supposed to focus on the both of them at once with them working together to defeat their Ultimate Enemy.
