Description Disclaimer: Toothless and How To Train Your Dragon are owned by DreamWorks Animation and Cressida Cowell.

Having a VERY white Christmas in my hometown this year allowed me to make this on Christmas Day.  Near life-size too.  And big enough that it's still there for New Years.  Just a bit smaller.
^_^  Rather simple. Other's have probably done better, but I had fun making it anyway.

I did the coloring with food-colored water in a spray bottle, for those who might be wondering.

What sort of dye/color did you use (as in brand name)? It looks like you mixed green and blue together. Do you have any other plans or ideas to make out of snow? You seem to really like Toothless or at least Night Furies in general.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the brand name.  It was borrowed from someone else.  I was only paying attention to what color I wanted.  But I did use black food-color for the skin.  That's just how it turned out after I applied it and it sat for a while before I could take the picture.  Guess the snow kind of watered it down as it was melting.  Made for a pretty cool effect with the color though, so I thought I'd just keep it that way.  I use standard green and red for the eyes and tail.

I considered making a Gronckle as well.  It was my first time making anything that big with snow and I figured a Gronckle would be the simplest to do.  However, having had previous experience drawing Toothless more beforehand,  I think I'd have done toothless better in understanding the anatomy and proportions better than if I had done a Gronckle.

Looks like you had fun and an opportunity to work with another medium.

Yes.  Yes I did.  ^_^  Might mean road hazzards,  but I still often wish it snowed that much more often so I could have more opportunities like that.
