Meet the strange duo of Smokestack and his pal, Smoagi. A beanpole of a man, Smokestack possesses the power to create creatures called "Smoglings", which are made of magical smoke from his cigarettes. Smoagi was his first Smogling, and as such, never disappears from existence. The duo were once members of a special military organization known as the "Cloud 9 Crew", but their commander was sentenced to death after a tragic event and the crew has since been disbanded. Smokestack and Smoagi are on the hunt for him though,after hearing he may be alive still.

Strengths: Immune to Cancer or any kinds of disease caused by smoking. Can create temporary Smoglings to aid him in battle. Extremely level-headed and focused, and is able to analyze things rapidly and accurately.
Weaknesses: Smokestack, like all humans, is weak to nearly everything normal humans are weak to. He's also very prone to burning up in the sunlight, as his skin is very pale. Lastly, he's prone to smacking his head on things due to being so tall.

Interesting Facts:
- Smokestack was the first character I created for my Otherworld concept back in 2008 or 2009. He's also one of my favorites.

- Smoagi is obsessed with Smokestack's lighter, and will chase after it if Smokestack throws it, making Smoagi very similar in behavior to that of a dog. Additionally, Smoagi's face will change to look as adorable as he can possibly manage, complete with huge anime-ish eyes, all in the hopes that he can play fetch with the lighter.

- Smoagi is capable of all kinds of expressions, including one where he mimics Smokestack's mannerisms and facial expressions. He even steals a cigarette to complete the look.

- Smokestack's real name is forever unknown. Nobody knows what it is, so people simply started calling him "Smokestack" due to his smoking habit and his height.

- Smoagi's is the second original species I've come up with, being "Smoglings". The first was the "Wispith" species. That said, both species are native to only one region. Smoglings in The Otherworld, and Wispiths in Tokatto City.

- Smokestack and Smoagi's heights have changed as of 11/18/2015.

Bio:
Born an only child, Smokestack lived a simple life with normal parents who cared greatly for him. He was a happy child, though the grey skies of the Otherworld caused him to have a somewhat sickly appearance. With no sun in the sky, most people who lived in the Otherworld were pale-skinned. Still, he was happy, as were his mother and father. Until one fateful night...

After being tucked into bed, the young Smokestack heard strange sounds coming from downstairs. The home had been broken into that night. A large silhouette of a man was the only thing the boy saw before witnessing his parents fall before his eyes. He didn't cry, nor did he feel pain. This was simply a harsh reality in the Otherworld, and his parents had prepared him, should the worst happen to them. The boy was special. He could conjure smoke from his body. A trait passed down from his father. Smokestack did what he was taught to do in a situation like this one; Kill the person before him. Without missing a beat, the man was brought to his knees, and choked to death by the thick smoke that now filled the room, as well as his lungs.

Smokestack created a Smogling in the process. A creature made from that very same smoke. It became his loyal pet, and lifelong pal.

As time went on, Smokestack was recruited by General Nimbus of the highly respected Cloud 9 Crew. A special organization dedicated to snuffing out criminals and the scum of the world. Under his tutelage, Smokestack was able to improve his powers ten-fold, making him one of the best members since his indoctrination. The crew's legacy would soon be shattered however, due to an accidental casualty during one of their missions. General Nimbus took the blame for the entire thing, was sentenced to death, and his subordinates were subsequently discharged leaving the Cloud 9 Crew as just a faint memory to all.

Smokestack still wears his uniform to this day however. After finding possible evidence of sabotage, potentially from within the crew, he's made it his mission to find the traitor, and bring them to justice. He's also heard rumors of General Nimbus still being alive. A lead he intends to follow, as the man may very well know who killed his parents.
