This is cool, I like the complexity of AL's abilities (seeing he's a virus) and at the last frame of the comic, he is shown as having a savage nature to represent how much chaos is in store for sanctum. In addition, I like the lighting effects (I could never figure out how to achieve lighting in my art)

Thanks, Im currently working on a filler comic to pass the time between now and the actual rounds. Hopefully the filler shows more of how AL is. His actions may seem evil and savage, but he is actually just so chaotically neutral its ridiculous. He has one goal, and with no concept of good or evil, he will do whatever is required to accomplish it.
For lighting effects do you have any paint programs like Photoshop or SAI? If not, I recommend getting SAI. Its a free download and you can basically do everything that you could do with Photoshop.
If you want any help Ill provide you with any info that I have. Ive had to self teach myself on alot of it but Im more than willing to help anyone out.

Thank you for bringing SAI to my attention, I will see if I can get it (and use it, I've never worked art with a computer other than editing)
Other than that, I would like to work art on a computer, but the thing I am the most comfortable with would be a pencil on a sheet of paper, I'm just going to have to get comfortable with the changes...What techniques would you recommend when I do start working on the computer for my art?
I can also relate to what you said about teaching yourself... I also had to teach myself most of the techniques I know with the pencil (at least my tricks of the trade).

Not really any tips on how to get comfortable with it. Just something youll need to practice and develop your own technique.
But you dont necessarily need a tablet to work with digital art either. If you practice with the pen tool and vectors you can color, shade and ink just as well, sometimes better than people who use an actual tablet. I use both whenever the mood or situation feels right.
If you do use a tablet to start drawing though, like completely going digital, one hiccup youll have to overcome is drawing while looking at your computer screen. It seems akward at first, but youll get the hang of it. Also, if you want to stick with traditional art, just draw normally, scan it in and then use the computer programs to color and ink.
I normally draw and ink on paper, scan it in, then clean it up and color with Photoshop.
Youll get used to it once you start and as long as you stick with it.

Looks great, and that last panel just keeps making me think of a berserk Eva Unit-o1; the whole mechanical/organic feeling. You're really shaping up as one of the competitors to beat in this tournament.

I think your odds of getting in are pretty solid. I'd already rank you as one of the top entries so far- your character is visually interesting, all your fanart for the group has been great, and all your posing has a great dynamic look to it. Your audition's made a great first impression of things to come- the first two pages have a nice montage effect of condensing the backstory and making it digestible, while the third page brings us up to the present and has some nice high impact (no pun intended) shots.
Seriously; unless 50+ outstanding A class artists appear out thin air and all get entries in on time, I'd say your tournament spot is pretty much a lock. And even then I'd still be on you getting in.

Damn, thanks so much for the vote of confidence. It's really humbling to receive praise from people. Im always my worst critic so I always assume the worst or see the worst when it comes to my artwork. I always look back at my old stuff and think, "wutthehellwereyoudoing!?" But its just proof that I can always work to improve. Thanks again, and are you entering the OCT as well or are you busy with AATR?

I will also be joining Sanctum; currently assembling my flash ref sheet before moving onto the audition comic. I'm hoping to have my sheet up soon- it's painful to see all these cool people joining the tournament already and not having something of my own to show as well.
