Profile (Johnny) :
Johnny isn't what many people would call, "normal." Sure, he had a fairly standard upbringing, with normal friends and normal relationships. However, he was always the odd duck in the group.
Often his friends and family would spend more time trying to understand how his mind worked or what he was up to next.
Some may have labeled him as being slightly "eccentric," while others, of the medical background persuasion, would have listed him as down right insane. (Although they would never be able to prove it.)
It was maybe this oddness about him that just drew in people around him. He was clearly different, but in a way that didnt really threaten others or put people off. Rather it piqued their curiosity.
Johnny had grown up with a buried penchant for the occult. Always fascinated at the possibility of the supernatural, he would study the world of demons and angels religiously (dont mind the pun). Little did he know, that deep within him lay the dormant potential to call upon the supernatural powers that he so ferverently studied.
Johnny went through the motions of life. He went to college and excelled at his studies (although they bored him to tears). He found a job first in the medical arena (again, bored him to tears), moved onto a technical engineering career that allowed him to explore his tinkerer side (his employers existed in a state of constant fear, wondering each day what oddity Johnny would create), but then moved on to the military.
The Army saw potential in Johnny's creations, and put him to work inventing better, well, better everything.
Still this didnt satisfy him.
He retired from the military and found work doing odd jobs around his home. (Money wasnt an issue due to several patents doling out a fair amount in royalties) He once again picked up his studies in the occult, and began focusing on trying to combine the science of invention with the mysticism of the supernatural. (With little success)
He eventually married his wonderful wife, Nika, who accepted him for all his quirks and qualities. They got a big dog, and bought a decent home. Life was good, and he was content...
Until...
His game console died...
After a series of mishaps, tribulations, and a minor kidnapping of an 80's sitcom star, Johnny, came upon a summoning spell (found in the penny aisle of your local Barnes & Noble).
With all other options exhausted, he attempted a small ritual, and was successful in calling forth Deemos.
Deemos was a reliquary, or storage device, created by the greater daemon, Balthizar. The power within the little demon is enormous (the excess of demonic energy that Balthizar would tap into to defend his lands) and was the source of many supernatural beings attentions.
This tournament finds Johnny with Deemos waiting for the day his wife, Nika, would return from Solicei (angel stronghold) healed from a mortal wound inflicted upon her by Balthizar.
They were only able to escape after Deemos forced Certamen (or Joining) on Johnny and flooded him with the demonic energy stored within his tiny frame. This caused Johnny to become a rampaging half demon.
They were able to escape from Balthizar, but until Johnny learns to perform Certamen properly, a large amount of demonic energy still lies within him, ready to be released again in the form of the monstrous creature that Johnny had become.

Profile (Wormwood) :
Wormwood is a demon. Plain and simple. A servile demon in the form of a gauntlet, but a demon nonetheless. Johnny and Deemos obtained Wormwood from Slavvar, demon of imprisonment.
Deemos realized that Wormwood's latent ability to pacify enemies would be enough to suppress the demon forces left inside of Johnny. However, after using it to turn Johnny back into a rational thinking human, Wormwood attempted to possess Johnny.
Through sheer force of will, Johnny resisted, tearing Wormwood from his forearm and tossing it aside. Deemos kept the demonic relic, however, with the belief that it might come in handy someday.

And now, here we are.

That's what I'm attempting to do. ^^

I recently figured out that I should be wary of my placement of teeth(and mouth) in regards to the skull to help make faces better proportioned. I would just draw the mouth wherever I felt like it, but it makes more sense now.

Tell that to a Navy guy. To us, that's a lot higher than it is for you

Still, not bad! I considered putting in an OCS package a while ago, gotta finish my current contract before I can, though.

Ever bump into a Major Clark Neal over there?

Definitely go for it. I encourage all my Soldiers that show interest in going Green to Gold, to do so.
As for that MAJ, nope, not yet. But its a small world over here, been running into alot of people I didnt think Id see again.
I plan on getting out soon though. Time to move on to bigger and better things.

I'd like to, but I'm more or less crippled right now. The Navy might be throwing me out soon.

Ah. I don't think he's over there anymore, came state-side a while ago. But he's been over there a few times.

Thanks for serving, Captain!

Eh, don't worry about it. Worse case scenario I get put out on disability and re-enlist if/when I get fixed.
