Here's 's character, Shadow Synthesis...such a badass.It's a real pleasure for me to draw such a cool character. I've added a lot of my own ideas an interpretations into the character design.. so please don't kill me TT_TT

I've been looking for dorm posters, recently. The selection sucks at the campus bookstore, so I don't wanna get the same ones as everyone else. I wish THIS were in that bookstore, though! I'd kill to print that out. You're just full of invention to inspire people, aren'tchya? XD

Cool that you didn't try taking full credit. But I think fanart has a shitty name. You depicted that character with your own shapes, lines, coloring methods, and spatial composition. I think you deserve as much credit as Brazilian-ninja.

I love the contrast that you've accomplished with this piece, and the implied areas on the left side of the body really sets everything off! Grabs the eye and moves it right into the character.

It's what I love about black and white drawing, all details are implied and rarely defined. It allows you to have more control over point of focus. Glad you like this one ^_^

ItΒ΄s really well done, the character looks good and it lived happily ever after with the background.
The only thing that bothers me is those little black & white dots. They make it look like it isnΒ΄t completely finished. Maybe you got the same thing as me, i usually wanΒ΄t to let a picture off my hands real fast. If i donΒ΄t do that, i screw with the tinyest details till the whole crapΒ΄s totally useless, or iΒ΄ve died in old age.
Should do more B&W pictures myself someday.

I prefer not to work the background and other areas into too much detail, otherwise the focus of the piece is lost. So I like to keep things loose around the outside, and hence yes it's supposed to look a bit unfinished.
