ah! you are asking the right person! I've played it through once.

It is a stealth game and a hard one.
You can fight if you get caught, but usually it is a bad idea. and there are enemies that are invincible and enemies that can oneshot you. (these are all good things, keeping stealth as the main drive of the game, since usually in stealth games you can just use a gun to get away anyway). run away and hide instead.
You find yourself thinking your next move all the time, like observing guard patrol paths and waiting for the best moment to move.
The difficulty scales kinda fast and you'll die a lot (well I died a lot anyway haha), so I recommend saving at every opportunity you can.
you've got items but you run out of them quickly, but you sometimes find them on the map. rare enough that you have to save them for a tough situation.
There are always multiple ways to get past guards. creativity is your ally.
I found myself dying a lot by climbing and jumping though.. (sometimes kinda hard to see where Styx will land)

I recommend it. Its a very good stealth game. Every situation is like a small puzzle.

There was this really really annoying part though where I was stuck for so long though, but I feel like it was unintended; there was an unskippable cutscene and after that I got immediately killed. I was stuck in a frustrating loop, I got away by jumping away just as the cutscene ended after multiple tries..

I love stealth games. I'll have to give this one a try then! Sounds like my kind of fun. The goblin aspect is what got my attention. Cool to see how it is on the other side for a change.
