I wouldn't be surprised! Heck, for all we know, they probably clued Bugs and Pepe in on the whole thing, and they're just teaching the two would-be impersonators a little lesson.

Or perhaps they just pointed Pepe in the 'girls' direction and sent Bugs to keep him from getting too serious in his pursuit.

Or that! Though I think even Bugs would have some trouble keeping an amorous Pepe away from a sexy skunkette.

Well, who knows, maybe the "girls" will end up liking it in the end. At the very least, it'll make for a good story to tell the grandkids. (Or maybe even the kind of story you won't tell your grandkids after all.)
