Appearance > Pathfinder is an average-sized NightWing for the most part, a bit skinnier but otherwise normal. He has black and gray scales and a light gray, almost white, underbelly. He has a red star on his forehead, the mark of a Blood Moon Prophet. His eyes are pale purple.
Scars > A long one going from his throat to the end of his tail. Can for the most part only be seen on one side.

POWERS > Pathfinder was hatched under a blood moon, which gifted him the blood-moon seer ability. He is more likely to see particularly terrible futures. He has the other average abilities of a NightWing (blending into the night, fire-breath).

SKILLS > He has excellent concentration, and when given a vision is good at remembering the details, due to training with his seer father. (He can’t trigger the vision again or force another, but simply has enough focus to be able to keep it fresh in his mind). Pathfinder also is passionate about general history and has studied it for much of his life.

He had a brief period of being an Alliance trainee, but quit early to return to being a janitor.

POSITIVE: 

 Focused > Pathfinder is great at focusing on the task at hand, and usually doesn’t allow himself to get sidetracked unless it would help matters. His long attention span is a great aid in gathering information and retaining it in his memory.

 Kind > Pathfinder is good at heart and treats other dragons that he encounters with a positive attitude. Once you get to know him, you’ll find that this kindness will never fade so long as you retain a positive relationship with him.

 Passionate > Pathfinder loves to learn more about pretty much any topic. He’ll read just about anything in an effort to learn as much as he can. He’s an attentive listener, hearing what others have to say with genuine interest.

NEUTRAL: 

 Quiet > Pathfinder, despite his kindness and passionate traits, is quiet and is rarely the one to start conversation. While it may be a barrier at first, once he gets to know someone this quietness will fade back a bit, and he will become more outspoken with the dragon.

 Timid > Pathfinder is easily frightened and and doesn’t have a lot of confidence. If he were a fighter, this would lean more towards the negative for him, but with his current job it’s sometimes just an annoyance to get through.

 Self Conscious > Pathfinder is very aware of his appearance, how he acts, and other things like that. Sometimes it’s a bit much for him, and sometimes it serves as a good way for him to prevent looking ridiculous in front of others.

NEGATIVE: 

 Anxious > Pathfinder is very anxious about things, especially regarding the future. This level of nervousness very easily overwhelms him, and it takes him a few moments to calm down.

 Insecure > Pathfinder is very unsure and unconfident in himself. He worries that his future holds nothing but failure and/or disappointment, and doesn’t expect a lot more from himself.

 Weak-Willed > Pathfinder finds it hard to resist influence from others, even if it’s bad. His timid and weak personality, when pressured properly, will bend and snap to the will of whatever/whoever is applying the pressure, and this can get him into bad situations.

 > Pathfinder dislikes being a seer, as it usually fuels his fears and places pressure on him in his mind.

 > Pathfinder’s greatest fear is that one day he will get a very important warning vision, but he won’t be able to prevent it and will fail everybody.
 > He's afraid that each of his nightmares are real visions of the future.

WISHES/DREAMS: 

 > He dreams of being able to write a guide on a subject (preferably a guide looking into the history of a specific tribe, whichever ends up standing out as the most interesting to him in the future)

\\  H I S T O R Y  //

Baby Dragonet > Pathfinder hatched under one full blood moon in the NightWing village. The red star on his forehead gave him away as a Doomseer, and he was named appropriately- Pathfinder. He was raised by both of his parents. He was also raised alongside his older sister, hatched about a year earlier. 


Dragonet > 

When Pathfinder's visions first started coming, he reacted with horror. He could hardly sleep at night due to the terrible dreams he would have, and he didn't get much more mercy when he was awake. His father, a regular prophet, tried his best to help his young son cope with the terrible visions of the future, although Stormcatcher could only do so much with such a different experience. 

Pathfinder grew up in the NightWing village, with (ignoring his powers, of course) a relatively normal lifestyle. He had quite a few friends and made them easily, as he hadn’t developed his introvert nature yet. He went through school, taking his necessary classes and one to help him deal with visions if they ever came. Pathfinder enjoyed school, as it offered him chances to learn new things. He gained a strong interest in history from attending his classes on that subject, and began studying it on his own time for fun. Studying history would become one of his biggest passions from then on.

Pathfinder trained with his father Stormcatcher, who was also a seer. They both found it to be troubling, as Stormcatcher was a normal prophet and his powers were much less severe than Pathfinder's, but they worked through the best that they could. Over time, this training helped the severity of Pathfinder's visions lessen, although most of them were still at least negative in nature. 


Young Adult/Adult > As soon as he was able, Pathfinder packed up and left for the Isle Mezzo- through his research, he found it to be the best place for him. Wisdomteller and Stormcatcher were upset to see him leave their sights, but they were unable to stop the full-grown dragon from leaving. 

He, at first, wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with his life. It was during these years that he also began to develop his fears. However, he managed to make friends with some dragons, and gradually became more comfortable with dragons in the town. He talked to Alliance members that he encountered during these times, befriending them and gaining their trust over the years. Eventually, he was trusted enough to be offered a job as janitor at the University, which he accepted.

Pathfinder was one of the doomed dragons on the journey through the R'lyeh realm. He was very nervous and fearful during it, but gained visions of importance throughout, which made him more confident in interpreting them. He also discovered his true feelings for Moonwave during it, admitting it through his mind near the end of the journey. He is still recovering mentally from the nightmareish imagery he saw, but that's going well.

Considering he helped save the world, he was considered qualified to train to be a member of the Alliance, which he accepted. However, after a time, he decided to give up the Alliance life in favor of pursuing his story.. on his own.

He attempted to help with the great fire that hit the Isle Mezzo, but got caught up in a fight with Bloodshine, one of the cultist sisters. Deeply upset by Olympia's method of killing the large hybrid, he leaped at her, but ended up gaining the long scar that now runs across his body.

Pathfinder later befriended the Nimble NightWing Navi, and the two of them met multiple times. Shortly after, Path received a worrying vision, and he attempted to interpret it with her. Then, the Bonewalkers emerged, and Pathfinder received a prophecy while speaking to Navi. The two of them helped together, but Path went with Navi when her talon was ripped off by a Bonewalker. 

After these events, Pathfinder and Navi grew closer- and then soon enough, she was with egg. Path stuck with her, and the two of them got together. On April 14th, their daughters, Serendipity and Joybringer, hatched.

Nearly a year after the hatching of his daughters, Pathfinder finished a memoir detailing his time in R'lyeh. He hopes to use his connections with the Alliance to print more copies to spread out across the world.
