I've been working on this for a long time. This seems pretty typical of me, but my only feeling right now is relief. xD So glad it's over with...while...I don't really think I care much for how it came out. >.>Oh well. This is part of getting better, I think.
I could really use a lesson in colors/shading... >.>
The elf is my OC, Rota. The dryad is unamed and useless to me. >[
But she does have freckles.

Wonderful job on the texturing, and the background is really well executed. there's a great sense of depth, and life and vibrancy, which i simply cannot capture at all.

I love that moss there. I wouldn't have the courage (and effort) to attempt something like that. I love tree people! I mean...I have so many drawings of people being engulfed by plants and trees...I love that theme.
I don't think you need a lesson in shading at all. You just need new texture brushes and stuff. I forgot how to make them in PS though...
