This is for and "Create Your Own Superhero Contest". It was such a cool contest idea that I had to have a play.

Introducing superhero Astral Angie, who hails from the mythical island of Australia.

Angela Dickenson grew up in a normal family, with loving parents and a little brother and big sister. Angela and her siblings were home schooled by her mother, as they lived in rural surroundings. Angela's favourite thing was to explore her surroundings. When she was 15 Angela started to stray a little further from home and came across some ancient ruins. She felt so peaceful just sitting within the confines of the pillars and fell asleep. She awoke with the first rays of morning and a large snake peering down at her. After her initial fright, something in her told her that the snake was there to protect her and so she did not run.

After that night Angela felt drawn to the ruins, where the snake always waited for her. Each night she snuck out and slept at the ruins and each day she came home feeler stronger, until one night she went to sleep and she woke in her astral form peering down at her own body, there was a bird flying close by. Something in her told her the bird was there to protect her, just as the snake would be there to protect her sleeping form. And so her astral adventures started and she began getting stronger and stronger in her astral form, being able to interact with real-life objects. One night while flying around in her astral form she heard screaming and she found a man attacking a young girl. Beating him and saving the girl was the beginning of her superherodom and she realised as well that they could see her. The next night she spent sitting at the ruins concentrating on creating her astral superhero image. ...And so began Astral Angie.

She is now 22 and lives by herself, so she can now spend time during the day at the ruins, while the snake protects her natural form and the bird flies with Astral Angie as she fights crime on the island of Australia, and eventually as her strength grows, around the world.
